Named after Tolkien‘s blue sorcerer, Alatar is a heavy metal group formed by German maniacs Tobias Stork and Gordon
Overkill. The two have been active in various bands for more than two decades – and they’ve been friends just as long.
Alatar’s music combines the epic appeal of Iron Maiden, Manilla Road, and Cloven Hoof with a nice dose of obscure oddity and occasional speed metal erruptions.

Another nice compilation! The instrumental version of Under waves lie our dead is absolutely magical and this alone in my opinion is worth purchasing Angleland! Still plenty of great material to be found!

Though the album versions with Paul Kearns are simply amazing, Hagthorn's vocals here elevate the two tracks into unspeakable heights. This is Solstice at its most epic. Really looking forward to new songs with this line-up, hope it lasts long enough.
